Shore Seafood's Grand Pearl Oysters are locally caught in the bountiful waters of the Chesapeake Bay. Grand Pearl oysters are inspected, washed, and shucked on the half shell and left intact with the abductor muscle, thus maintaining their own natural liquor. This also allows the oysters to remain plump and rich, even after being cooked, which makes for a grand presentation. Each oyster is blast frozen to preserve freshness in our FDA inspected facility. Our oysters hold a mild, briny saltwater taste allowing the sweet, buttery taste to be exposed, rather than being masked by over-powered salinity levels such as a seaside oyster.
Our oysters do not contain any additives or preservatives, resulting in a clean label. Oysters are packaged in an interweaved bubble pack to protect shells from breaking and for a tight, secure, fit during transit. With 12 layers of 12 oysters sitting in an air tight bag to preserve freshness inside a double corrugated, printed master carton, our 144 count case makes for a visually appealing and easy-to-handle pack. To defrost: run tap water over the oyster, slow-thaw in a refrigerator overnight, or quick-thaw in the microwave. No matter the method, you're sure to be serving a flavorful, quality oyster.
Grand Pearl Half Shell Oysters are harvested from FDA approved waters, inspected and then blast frozen upon receipt to preserve freshness.
Natural flavor is not masked by over-powering salinity levels as in seaside oysters. Our oysters are mild with a distinct, sweet, buttery finish.

No sand, shell or other extraneous matter. Additionally our oysters are washed multiple times before packing and thoroughly inspected.
Oysters are an excellent source of zinc. They also have a high content of other important trace elements such as copper and iron. Oysters are rich in vitamins B12 and D and have a healthy combination of fatty acids with plenty of omega-3.
Because our oysters are already shucked, there is no expensive labor costs or special skills needed, not even washing. Just prep and serve.
